What is Microblading, Ombre brow, and Combo brow?
Microblading – This brow technique implants pigment into the skin using a handheld tool with small needles at the tip also known as blades. These microblades are used to imitate the appearance of natural hair. This service is great for clients that have normal to dry skin type, a good amount of brow hair with sparse areas but want more definition and fluff. Healed results are soft and very natural.
Ombre Brow – This brow technique implants pigment into the skin using a tattoo machine and needle cartridge. The ombre technique is meant to create small soft pixels or dots for a gradient brow powder or pencil look also known as machine shading. This service is great for all skin types but especially for oily skin and clients that like to use brow pomades, pencils, and powders. Healed results are soft, defined and powdery.
Combo Brow – This technique utilizes both microblading and ombre shading to achieve a beautifully balanced brow. The hair strokes create a natural fluffy look and the shading helps give depth and fullness. This service is great for combo, normal and dry skin types; the amount of shading will depend not only on skin type but also client preference and healed results.
All services are considered tattoos and fall under that category of permanent makeup, and though permanent the ink will fade over time and will need some maintenance. Annual Touch ups are recommended every 2-3 years in order to keep the color and appearance fresh!
What is a lash enhancement and designer liner?
Lash Enhancements – A soft thin line created to hug the base of the lashes and frame the eyes in a very natural way. Ink is deposited using a permanent makeup tattoo machine and single use needle cartridge. Healed results are soft, defined and give the illusion of a fuller lash line. Thickness is dependent on preference and anatomy.
Designer Liner – Designer Liner is a lash enhancement and then some. It includes tattooing along the lash line and creating a custom shape that will benefit and compliment your eye shape best. This may include a wing, wedge or smokey shading for a more dramatic look.
How long does it last?

Does it hurt?
On the discomfort scale, 1 being the lowest I would rate it between a 2 to 3 MAX.
Keeping clients comfortable is as important to me as the level of service I provide…it’s a packaged deal!
I use high grade topical anesthetics with 5% lidocaine that are trusted and sold on the market today. To effectively numb and decrease discomfort, I utilize both a pre- and mid- numb which helps to reduce tenderness and swelling throughout the procedure.
Basic rule of thumb — if you numb easily at the dentist or doctors you will have no issues during any permanent makeup procedure.
Do I need a touchup appointment?
Yes! All permanent cosmetic procedures require 2 sessions minimum to complete. During the 6 – 8 week Touchup I assess pigment retention and make any adjustments necessary to achieve desired results. The follow up also increases the longevity of your new ink so it is important not to skip.
I had previous work done by another artist, will you fix them/ touch them up?
I require that anyone who has had work done previously by another artist send me a picture before booking an appointment. By sending me a picture it allows me to professionally assess the previous work, if I am able to help and best options. Generally the previous ink needs to be 75% faded for me to work on.
PLEASE NOTE: Any client coming to me from another artist is considered a NEW CLIENT, with full prices.
How long does the procedure take?
Typically, Initial procedures take 3 -3.5 hours to complete. This includes the consultation, mapping of the new shape, creating custom color match, 25 min numbing time and tattooing.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Avoid alcohol and caffeine 24 hours before your appointment.
Avoid aspirin, niacin, vitamin E, CoQ10 and ibuprofen 48 hours before.
No Botox treatments should be done 3 weeks prior due to swelling and bruising and should be avoided 4 weeks after the procedure.
No Micro dermabrasions, chemical peels or anything of that nature for 1 month prior to appt. This allows the skin to retain more ink during the procedure for best healed results.
For brows No waxing or tinting 3 days prior to procedure.
Avoid retinols, Retin-A , anti-aging/ acne creams or serums containing acids for 1 month prior to appt as these will fade pigment prematurely.
Stay hydrated!!! Water helps the body to function and heal properly, upping your water intake 48 hours prior to appt and 2 weeks post procedure is recommended to achieve the ideal heal
You will spend a minimum of 3 hours laying down so it’s important to dress comfortably and bring a sweater in case you get cold. Please eat before your appointment, this will ease anxiety and increase comfortability during the procedure.
What can I expect immediately after my appointment?
Immediately after your appointment you may experience minor swelling and redness around the treated area, this typically goes away within 24 hours. During the following 2 weeks as the ink stabilizes and your skin starts to heal, the pigment will begin to darken, appear warmer and bolder than it was initially. No need to panic, the ink will neutralize and heal 30% lighter than immediately after appointment.
With each procedure I make sure to give clients everything they need to get the best healed results and retention. My aftercare kits include a healing balm, gentle cleanser and shower guards which are to be used for 2 weeks post procedure. It is important to follow aftercare very closely to achieve best results.
